History of UNENTAS

Bill Webster was appointed as UNE photographer in July 1959, and died
in September 1989. He bequeathed the telescope to UNE, and in March 1990
the Webster Observatory dome was dismantled and taken to Armidale and
erected at the Kirby Observatory. The society was founded in 1997.
